WE, the millions of loyal Kmart shoppers across this great country, implore you to bring back Kmart’s best jingle/ad campaign ever, I Found Love At A Kmart Store.

Honorable executives, we have remained loyal Kmart shoppers throughout the corporate ups and downs of the Big Red K. Through one lame ad campaign after another – and even through bankruptcy -- we stood by the company with resolute and steadfast dedication.

Now, all we ask is that you bring back the best campaign and jingle you guys have ever created. A campaign that speaks to the real appeal of Kmart – a down home, no pretense shopping experience that you can’t help but Love.

We don’t want to invoke the ‘W’ word – the giant retailer that’s tried to steal the country’s small business entrepreneurial spirit. But we will have no choice if our favorite retailer leaves us out in the retail cold.

We’re confident that our pleas will be heeded and that we’ll be able to say We Found Love At Kmart Corporate.

Yours truly,
The Millions of loyal Kmart Shoppers
KMART SHOPPERS THREATEN TO BOYCOTT THE BIG RED K UNLESS IT BRINGS BACK HIT JINGLE

TROY, MICHIGAN – Elaine Cassel loves her Blue Light Specials. And she loves her Kmart jingle even more. So when the Big Red K changed its advertising campaign, Cassel sprung into action. She’s organizing a nationwide boycott of Kmart until the retailer brings back the mega-popular I Found Love At A Kmart Store jingle/campaign.

"Kmart finally came up with a great ad campaign featuring country and western star, Darryl Worley; the best stuff Kmart’s done in decades," said Cassel, a homemaker from Troy, Michigan. "Now they’re back to the same old crap. It’s a smack in the face to Kmart shoppers everywhere."

Rather than just complain about Kmart’s ditching the beloved I Found Love campaign, Cassel is doing something about it. She’s organizing a countrywide boycott of Kmart which, she says, will last until the retailer brings back the beloved jingle.

"I’ve corresponded with hundreds of thousands of Kmart devotees via the internet and almost to a person there are some pretty pissed-off Kmart shoppers out there," said Cassel. "They want the I Found Love jingle back - and they’re going to boycott the chain until they bring it back."

Kmart shoppers haven’t had much to cheer about over the past few years. The chain went bankrupt in 2003 and, until recently, ran boring commercials. But that all changed when Kmart bought Sears and launched its I Found Love At A Kmart Store ad campaign.

"We are reaching out to Kmart shoppers all across the country," said Cassel. "We deserve better than the ad rubbish Kmart’s gone back to. I hate to invoke the ‘W’ word, but that retail giant will be all too happy to take our business if Kmart can’t even throw its loyal shoppers a jingle bone."

Cassel says she’s launching her website this weekand hopes to attract millions of Kmart shoppers.
